The company previously responded to inquiries about stock and shipping status from distributors by phone and FAX, which was a significant burden on staffs of each sales office. In addition, the company was required to provide real time information from distributors, so they considered systematization with work reform efforts of the whole company.
By adopting cloud service "Accel-Mart" of a system common platform "intra-mart" as a base, "Web stock/shipping status inquiry system" was constructed. There are few new phone calls for inquiries by the new system. It reduced work by 72% and reduced 350 hours per month. In addition to stock, it enabled to provide real time information such as tracking where products are in a distribution process so it has greatly contributed to improving CS (Customer Satisfaction).

The customer constructed the Web stock/shipping status enquiry system by adopting Accel-Mart (intra-mart with AWS cloud services):

  • Multi-tenant feature allowed each agency to use same application but referenceable information
  • Feature to build interfaces with core systems and use of stock data from SAP was highly required
